Voice on the Coast looking to find out more about the 18-45 population

Voice on the Coast has a new project, aimed at finding out more about the lives of Sunshine Coasters between 18 and 45.

The group started a few years ago as a way to get the issues and concerns of younger people in front of local politicians.

Their latest effort is called the VOICE OUT!reach.

Paige McKinnon is the coordinator.  McKinnon says it’s a survey, where they’ll be asking people basics such as age, where they live, and whether they own or rent their homes, and also things like why they live on the coast, what they do for work and recreation.

McKinnon says a lot of the information will fill gaps left when the long form Census was ended.

Voice is hoping to get as many responses as possible by the end of November. You can jump to the survey through the Voice on the Coast Facebook page.
