Vancouver Island’s Integrated Major Crime Unit is being brought in to help Ladysmith RCMP with the case of a missing Penelakut Island woman.
18 year old Delores Brown was last seen July 27th.
Corporal Darren Lagan says the Major Crime Unit will be focused on trying to rule out whether Brown met with foul play. He says Brown’s family is growing increasingly worried and so are investigators.
Lagan says police are also still hoping for fresh information from the public.
Brown is:
•First Nations female
•18 years old
•Approximately 168cm (5’6″) 58kg (120lbs)
•Last seen wearing blue sweatpants and a black and white t-shirt
