Wednesday is a big day for one of the Sunshine Coast’s pioneering publishers.
Harbour Publishing is celebrating the release of Raincoast Chronicles Number 23 – a special edition to mark the company’s 40th anniversary.
Harbour’s Howard White says the idea of using Raincoast Chronicles to mark the occasion was a natural choice. The compendium of coastal stories and history was the first project for White and his wife Mary back in 1972, and it led to the birth of Harbour.
Today’s launch is at 4pm, Wednesday June 3rd at the Pender Harbour School of Music in Madeira Park.
White will be on hand with editor Peter Robson and Harbour authors, past and present, for readings, conversation and to mix and mingle to share stories from the company’s history.
