The arrival of the RCMP’s Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team on the Sunshine Coast Saturday morning caused a lot of buzz and speculation on social media.
Sunshine Coast RCMP say they brought in the ERT to deal with a call in the Halfmoon Bay area, out of concern for the safety of officers.
But, in the end, there was no danger and for now that’s all RCMP are saying.
They don’t plan to release any other details at this point out of respect for the privacy of those involved.
