Some opponents of the Woodfibre LNG project are asking BC’s Environmental Assessment Office to extend the deadline for public comments.
Right now anybody who wants to be heard has until March 9th.
Delena Angrignon is with the group “My Sea to Sky“.
She says there’s no way the general public can be expected to come up with meaningful comments, when there’s nearly 13-thousand pages of background material.
My Sea to Sky is also asking for a deadline extension on the Eagle Mountain Pipeline expansion… Fortis plans to twin the pipeline so Woodfibre will have enough natural gas for its plant.
