BC Ferries is making temporary changes to the service linking the upper and lower Sunshine Coast.
Darin Guenette of BC Ferries says they had to re-jig the schedules because the Queen of Burnaby – which normally runs between Comox and Powell River is going into dry dock January 19th to repair a propeller hub.
While the work is being done the MV Island Sky will shuttle between Comox, Texada Island and Powell River… and, Ferries will move the North Island Princess, the usual Texada vessel, to the Saltery Bay – Earls Cove route on the following modified schedule.
