Sunshine Coast RCMP are making progress in their investigation of 11 cases of vandalism to mailboxes in Gibsons.
Somebody’s been putting “bear bangers” – similar to a large fire cracker – into the boxes and blowing them apart.
Staff Sergeant Vishal Mathura gave Gibsons Councillors the latest information during his quarterly update last night.
Among the targets was the community book exchange box set up by the Gibsons Public Library as part of their 100th anniversary celebrations last year.
