A note for people planning to catch a ferry New Year’s Day. BC Ferries has cancelled trips on several routes.
Deborah Marshall of BC Ferries says there just aren’t enough travellers to make it worth running the ships.
The routes affected include Langdale and Earls Cove where the first round trip of the day is cancelled.
On the Duke Point – Tsawwassen route they’re cancelling both the first two and last two sailings.
BC Ferries recommends people check the schedules before heading out.
