Protect Public Health Care-Sunshine Coast is speaking out against the proposed long-term health care facility for the community.
Ian McLatchie notes their main concern isn’t about the location of the facility, but instead, they’re still not satisfied with the fact that it’ll be a privately owned facility.
McLatchie says they don’t know much about the new agreement but they’d like to see the local government and the health authority be more transparent with this process.
He says their group is planning to organize another public meeting in the near future and hopes Vancouver Coastal Health will do the same.
