Paramedics in B.C are petitioning to be a part of the fire and police services collective bargaining act.
If the province decides to include paramedics into the act, paramedics won’t be allowed to strike and they won’t be locked out during a dispute.
Cole Godfrey was in Gibsons collecting signatures for the petition.
Over 500 signatures were collected in Gibsons on Thursday.
