Three people are out of their home following a fire on Western Acres Road in south Nanaimo.
The fire department says an RV trailer, parked next to a home, caught on fire and it spread up through the soffit of the house and into the attic.
The call came in just after midnight.
Two occupants in the house and one occupant, who was sleeping in the trailer, had managed to escape the fire.

There were no injuries and the residents were insured.

Smoke alarms were present and activated during the fire.
