Nanaimo RCMP is investigating an alleged assault between two adults and a number of students from Wellington High School.
It happened yesterday (Thurs) during the noon hour at the Subway in the 4100 block of Departure Bay Road.
Mounties say it appears the event began after a husband and wife had gone into the Subway looking for their son.
There was a heated conversation between the parents and a group of youth and all of them were asked to leave the restaurant.
They took their argument into the parking lot where it is alleged a fight of some sort took place between the parents and a number of students.
Nanaimo RCMP School liaison officers, along with School District 68 officials, are investigating.
