Sunshine Coast RCMP say the active search for a kayaker missing, and presumed drowned, at Garden Bay Lake is over.
The 59 year old local man didn’t return from an evening paddle on August 16th.
Search and Rescue teams found his kayak adrift a few hours after he was reported overdue, but there’s been no other sign of the man.
RCMP are asking anyone who’s on or around the lake to report anything unusual, or anything they think might help police.
