A man was airlifted to hospital in Vancouver after a serious crash on Garden Bay Rd on Saturday.
Sunshine Coast RCMP were called to the scene around 8:30am. The man was pulled from the wreckage of his car, semi-conscious, suffering from a head wound and having trouble breathing.
The 57-year-old was airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital. As of Saturday afternoon, he was said to be in stable condition.
Cst Harrison Mohr with Sunshine Coast RCMP says there’s no clear reason for the crash, and they’re reminding drivers to obey speed limits, wear seat belts and drive with care at all times. The investigation is continuing.
