UPDATE: As of 10:15 a.m., BC Hydro has restored power to all 1,136 customers in Sechelt following an outage.

Over 1,130 people were without power in Sechelt this morning.
BC Hydro says the outage started at 7:32 a.m., affecting 1,136 customers living in sections of Belair Road, Highway 101 at Brooks Road, Sunshine Coast Highway, Secret Road, Anderson Road, Walker Road, San Souci Road, Tideways Trail, and Cove Way.
Hydro says crews were on-site, and were able to restore power to all.
The cause behind the outage is unknown.
