Police are looking for a brazen thief who stole cash right out of a bank teller’s hands as it was being handed to a customer.
The incident happened on Friday, shortly after 2 pm in the Bank of Montreal located at the Dickinson Crossing shopping centre.
Reserve Constable Gary O’Brien with Nanaimo RCMP says a man and woman were waiting in the bank lineup, when the man, who was dressed in black and wearing a black mask, suddenly made the snatch. He ran outside with the woman, and they escaped in a dark coloured pickup truck.
