One of the two people involved in the robbery of a Nanaimo jewelry store will appear in court later next week.
The robbery took place on Oct. 2, 2024, when Tamara Price and Robert Hawkins allegedly entered a jewelry store in North Nanaimo and made off with what police are calling thousands of dollars in merchandise.
Price was arrested on Dec. 21, and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 7, where she will face charges of Possession of Stolen Property and Theft Over $5,000.
RCMP says warrants are still active for Robert Hawkins, and they’re continuing their search for him.
