Police are investigating an assault that took place on Boxing Day in a BC Ferries elevator.
Sunshine Coast RCMP are investigating the incident, which is reported to have happened at around 4:20 pm on the ferry travelling from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale on December 26.
Police say there may have been several witnesses who saw the suspect and victim immediately after the assault when the elevator opened. The victim, a 79 year old Sechelt man, suffered injuries to his face.
