As 2024 comes to a close, the Town of Gibsons’ mayor says he’s optimistic for the future after the municipality recently hit several milestones.
In a media release, mayor Silas White highlighted key areas where council made significant improvements including affordable housing, homeless outreach, the Pebbles Beach restoration, and active transportation.
White says the community has stepped up and all these advancements couldn’t have been made without it.
“None of this would’ve been possible without the dedication of our hardworking staff, the passion of volunteers, the support of residents, and the generosity of funding partners who help bring these initiatives to life,” he says.
He says with the community working together they’ve had a fantastic year, and a prosperous 2025.
