The Katherine Lake Park and Campground will reopen Friday, June 7, 2024.
The Sunshine Coast Regional District says its park services staff and the campground operator at Katherine Lake have the site ready for use.
In February a sink hole appeared in the road during a heavy rainfall.
SCRD staff worked with a local contractor on a temporary repair of the road until a permanent fix can be completed in the fall.
If you are interested in camping at Katherine Lake Campground, reservations can be made online.
The lake is located north of Pender Harbour, there are 19 RV spots and 10 campsites, picnic facilities, a sandy swimming beach, small playground, fishing, from non-motorized boats.
