More childcare spaces are available in Qualicum Beach.
The Into the Woods Early Learning Child Care Studio has opened on Dorset Road.
Adam Walker, MLA for Parksville-Qualicum said the beach is seeing more and more young families make their way into the area.
“This beautiful new childcare studio will benefit families and the community for years to come and will be a place for young children to thrive,” said Walker.
The province adds that they invested $1.5 million to the Town, with $218,000 used to build this facility, which is set to accommodate 37 babies and children up to five years old.
The investment is part of the province’s ongoing ChildcareBC plan, with the hopes of supporting the creation of new childcare spaces for those in need.
