A truck rollover has closed the southbound lanes of Highway 19 just north of Nanaimo. No injuries have been reported at this time.
Drive BC sent out the first notification of the closure just after 1 pm, adding the detour at Northfield road about a half hour later.
Nanaimo Fire is asking that drivers avoid the area, as they too respond to the scene.
