Students at Dover Bay Secondary school are getting an impromptu four day weekend.
On Friday, an on-site transformer failed and left the school without any electricity.
While staff are on-site to fix the issue, the school will be closed today and tomorrow, and possibly longer.
An update is expected later today in regards to how long the outage will last, and when kids can come back to school.
