Non-Potable Water Tap Open in Sechelt

If you need access to water on the Sunshine Coast, the District of Sechelt has a new option.

It’s non-potable water, which isn’t safe to drink or bathe in and can’t be used for washing things like vehicles. The water can be used for watering vegetables and flowers.

The district says the flow of the tap is similar to that of the average household, so citizens are encouraged to only fill a few buckets at a time to avoid lengthy lineups.

It’s located in the south end parking lot of the Water Resource Centre on Surf Circle in Sechelt.
