Arrest warrant out following sexual assault in Nanoose Bay

A break and enter and sexual assault in Nanoose Bay has lead to the arrest warrant for a 27-year-old man.

Quinten Meyer was initially arrested by Oceanside RCMP on July 30th – when the offenses took place – but was released on bail and given a court date in September.

The charges against Meyer are break and enter, assault with a weapon and obstruction of a police officer.

Meyer is described as, “Caucasian, 5 feet and 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with blonde hair shaved on both sides, blue eyes and a skull tattoo on his left hand.”

He has family connections on Vancouver Island, but also in the Okanagan and in Calgary.
