RCMP on the Sunshine Coast investigating "marine hit and run"

Summer has brought a spike in on-the-water incidents for Sunshine Coast RCMP, including a rare “marine hit and run”.
RCMP say they’re looking at security video to try to figure out who was operating a dinghy that hit a larger boat near the Pender Harbour government dock July 23rd.  People in the large boat say they were below decks when they heard an outboard motor, then felt an impact.  By the time they got topside the other boat was gone.
Police are also looking for the owners of an inflatable boat with an outboard motor that washed up on Georgia Beach in Gibsons on the 18th.
And the people who stole a large red canoe from a waterfront property on Lower Road in Roberts Creek between the 13th and 26th.
