BC Ferries says it’s gotten to the bottom of at least one of the two major glitches that caused trouble for travellers over the weekend.
Deborah Marshall of BC Ferries says it was a case of a seemingly small thing having a big impact that disrupted service at Langdale on Saturday.
Marshall says repairs were completed Monday.
As for the “communication breakdown” that led to dozens of vehicles being left behind Sunday afternoon at Departure Bay, Marshall says staff had a debriefing Monday but she doesn’t have any details about what caused the miscommunication in the first place. The affected travellers all got refunds.
