Nanaimo’s canoe, kayak and rowing clubs are trying to drum up some votes for the Kraft Celebration Tour.
The Nanaimo Community Boathouse project, which would give the clubs a new home and a safe place to store their gear has already won $25-thousand for making the finals. Whether they get another $75-thousand depends on voting pitting them against 9 other community projects.
