Sunshine Coast RCMP say vandals are causing on-going problems at the pier near Sechelt’s Rotary Friendship Park.
Police say somebody has been damaging and stealing equipment left overnight by contractors working on repairs at Sechelt Pier. Among the missing items are six large orange pylons.
RCMP also say somebody has made several attempts to toss scaffolding over the side of the pier. The only thing preventing it was the fact it had been chained up.
Police are hoping anyone with information will come forward.
