A 45-year-old woman is dead after a logging accident north of Sechelt.
It happened around 9:30 Sunday morning, but the details are only now being released. The BC Coroners Service says Sherry Belle Bennett was from Victoria. She died after being hit by a tree during land-clearing operations at a private lot.
The BC Coroners Service, WorkSafe BC and RCMP are still investigating.
