Progress Plan shifts from "plan" to "action" in final months of mandate

The people behind a Sunshine Coast project called the Progress Plan say they’re starting to move from planning to action, as they get ready to wrap things up early next year.
The big goal is to make it easier for women to get ahead in the local economy.  They’ve already launched initiatives to help connect self employed women, improve transportation options and access to care for children and seniors.
In their latest update for the Sunshine Coast Regional District, the Progress Plan’s Pat Hunt said this really is a community-driven project.

Anne Titcomb, who’s also working on the project, adds that it’s all building up to a road map local governments and others can follow.
The Progress Plan is due to wind-down in March of next year.
