Habitat Sunshine Coast looking for new home for bottle drop off

Habitat for Humanity Sunshine Coast’s is looking for a new home for its bottle drop-off; again.
For the past several years the drop-off has been beside the Sunshine Coast Regional District’s recycling depot in Sechelt.  But that depot closed June 30th and a private company is now taking in recyclables.
The Habitat drop off is being allowed to stay at the old site, but
Executive Director Sheila Gamble says they’re worried not being paired with the recycling depot will mean a drop in donations.
And Gamble says those beer and wine bottles, pop cans and other refundables are an important source of cash
Gamble says they’re talking with potential partners about a new location, but aren’t ready to release any details.
