RCMP in Oceanside say they do not suspect foul play in the death of a “middle aged” woman whose body was found near Milner Gardens in Qualicum Beach.
The discovery was made New Year’s Eve.
Police say the body turned up on the beach near the Gardens and the BC Coroner’s Service says its initial investigation hasn’t shown any signs of foul play.
The woman was not carrying any ID, but RCMP have now discovered who she was. They are withholding her name until next of kin are notified
