Nanaimo RCMP are investigating armed robbery. It happened around 2:30pm on Thursday at College Grocery at 458 Wakesiah Ave.
The suspect pulled out a knife and took a number of scratch lottery tickets. There were no injuries.
The store clerk chased the suspect for a short distance.  One of the Nanaimo RCMP’s dogs tracked the suspect but RCMP think he got into a vehicle and sped off. It is believed the suspect may have left the area in a white sedan but no other vehicle information is available.
The suspect is described as a white man between 20-25 years, 5’5 “, with a thin build. He was wearing a white baseball cap, black and white bandana, black long sleeve shirt, long black shorts, and black and lime green gloves.
