RCMP in Powell River are looking for a missing man.
Shawn Ian Gentry was last seen on Sunday at 2:00pm when he left on foot from a family member’s home near the Eagle River area.
Powell River Search and Rescue have been conducting an extensive ground search in the area since Gentry was reported missing on Monday, June 30 at 9:00pm.
The search is still underway, and a Search and Rescue team from Vancouver Island also helping.
Gentry is described as white, 45-years-old, 6 feet tall and 180 lbs with dark hair and dark facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark colored long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
