"Stunting" and other aggressive driving worries RCMP commander

The head of the Sunshine Coast RCMP says he’s worried dangerous driving and “stunting” on local highways is going to end in tragedy …
Staff Sergeant Herb Berdahl says there are continuing issues with burnouts, doughnuts and other dangerous stunts.  It’s mainly in the Pender Harbour area, but Berdahl says it’s happening more and more in the Sechelt area as well.
He says RCMP rely on tips from the public to track down the drivers, but the public doesn’t always see the urgency until something serious happens.
Berdahl made the comments at his final appearance before the Regional Policing Committee.  He announced his retirement earlier this spring, and his final day as detachment commander will be July 4th.
