Remembrance Day Ceremonies on the Sunshine Coast

There are Remembrance Day ceremonies throughout the Sunshine Coast Monday morning.

In Gibsons, the ceremony of remembrance gets going at 10:45 am at 747 Gibsons Way.

At dusk, St. Hilda’s Anglican Church in Sechelt and St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Gibsons will ring their bells, marking the 100th Anniversary of the End of the First World War.

In Sechelt, the Remembrance Day ceremonies go at 11 am at the Cenotaph in Acadian Park at the foot of Cowrie Street and the Sunshine Coast Highway.

Pender Harbour: 

It starts at 10:30 am at the Legion Cenotaph at 12829 Lillies Lake Road
