Liberal Member of Parliament-elect Patrick Weiler says the riding of West Vancouver Sunshine Coast Sea-to-Sky Country is a very diverse region.
Weiler believes that he knows the riding well, understands its diversity, and the priorities of the different groups within the constituency.
He says each area of the riding requires individual attention and it’s important to be engaged with the municipalities and community groups to make sure their priorities are addressed through policies.
One of the first priorities for Weiler after he is sworn in an MP is to tackle the area’s lack of affordable housing.
He says the problem is consistent throughout the riding.
