Sechelt is seeking public input on four applications from businesses hoping to open non-medical cannabis retail stores.
The district says the applications have been referred to it by the Provincial Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch.
Before the Sechelt council can make a decision on the applications it must first get public feedback.
The applications are from Coastal Green for a retail outlet in the 43-hundred block of Sunshine Coast Highway, 420 Hemp Shop for a location on Cowrie Street, Sun Coast Culture for a store on Teredo Street and Weeds Glass and Gifts for a retail marijuana outlet in the 55-hundred block of Wharf Avenue.
All public submissions, whether written or emailed, need to be received by Sechelt council by November 5th.
