Four Days of Advanced Voting Starts Friday

With the federal election less than two weeks away, there are four opportunities to cast your ballot ahead of general election day on October 21.
There are seven candidates running in the West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast-Sea-to-Sky Country riding.
Judith Wilson of the NDP, Gabrielle Loren of the Conservatives, Dana Taylor of the Greens, Patrick Weiler of the Liberals, Independent Terry Grimwood, Robert Douglas Bebb of the People’s Party of Canada, and Gordon Jeffrey of the Party Rhinoceros Party are all running to replace Pamela Goldsmith-Jones, who decided not to run for re-election back in May.
The advanced polling stations are open from 9 am until 9 pm and to find out where you can go to cast your ballot, check out the voter information card that was mailed out.
If you haven’t received your registration card or the information on it is incorrect, you have a few options, but you need to register or update your information before October 15.
You can use the online registration service, contact a local Elections Canada office, or call 1-800-463-6868.
A link to all of the information you need is available here.
Federal elections are different from provincial elections because, in a federal election, you must vote at your assigned polling station.
