Cram the Cruiser Returns in Nanaimo

As people in Nanaimo do their weekend grocery shopping they have an opportunity to help stock the shelves of Nanaimo’s Loaves and Fishes Food Bank.

On Saturday, Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Real Canadian Superstore are hosting another Cram the Cruiser event.

Constable Gary O’Brien says they recognize the important role the food bank plays.

He says school liaison officers see first hand how good nutrition can make a difference in the behavior and learning ability of children.

RCMP officers and a marked cruiser will be at the Nanaimo Superstore between 11 am and 4 pm on Saturday.
