Nanaimo RCMP continues to look for two men wanted in connection with an attack on a pair of homeless people.

A man and a woman were attacked near Divers Lake by two men with baseball bats.

After the attack, one of the victims, a 39-year-old woman, went to a nearby business to ask for help.

Both victims were rushed to hospital with serious injuries, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Nanaimo RCMP describes the men as being between 25 and 35 years old. One had a goatee and the other is said to have a heavy beard. They were in a newer model orange car.

The two men are unknown to the victims.

The attack took place on Saturday afternoon.
