The BC government is offering rebates to people who want to install electric vehicle chargers at home.
The rebates are designed to encourage people to install EV chargers at houses, condominiums, and offices in BC.
A house owner can get a rebate of three-hundred-and-50 dollars to have a level-2 charging station at home.
If a strata council wants to install a multiple level-2 unit at a condiminium the rebate is two-thousand dollars.
A rebate of two-thousand dollars is also offered for installation of workplace vehicle chargers.
In addition, BC Hydro is offering a matching rebate of three-hundred-and-50 dollars for a limited time when people install a level-2 charger.
The province’s rebates are available through CleanBC, but you must install the charger and provide proof by the end of March next year to get the rebate.
