Drivers going to the Lower Mainland from the Sunshine Coast or Vancouver Island using the Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal early Saturday will face some delays.
Debra McPherson of BC Ferries says the RBC Granfondo Whistler cycling event will result in traffic changes in the Horseshoe Bay terminal vicinity until 9:30 am Saturday morning
She says the eastbound lanes of the Upper Levels Highway will be closed to traffic from Horseshoe Bay to Taylor Way.
McPherson also says for people heading to the Sunshine Coast or the Island from the Lower Mainland, the Lion’s Gate bridge will be closed northbound until 8 am.
Travelers will have to use the Second Narrows Bridge.
