The Roberts Creek Community Association is hoping to recreate some history this weekend — again.
The Community Hall is marking its 80th anniversary, and the Association is hoping to get as many Creekers as possible at the Hall for a photo on Sunday, June 8th.
The idea is to recreate the photo taken on the day The Hall was opened back in 1934, something Roberts Creek residents have done periodically over the years; most recently in 2004.
RCCA president John Dykes has been doing some historical research into the old photographs and he says there’s a bit of a mystery.
Dykes says they’d like people to get to the Hall at 11:30, and they’ll take the photo at noon. There’s not much parking so it’s best to bike, walk or take the bus if you can.
