A man who threatened a pedestrian with a flare gun wrapped in electrical tape is in custody on the Sunshine Coast.
Five police officers were involved in a “high-risk takedown,” between the aquatic centre and the District of Sechelt Municipal offices.
After the altercation, the pedestrian called police, and when RCMP arrived the suspect left the van without incident and was taken into custody.
