It's that time of year… watering restrictions now in place

The City of Nanaimo’s annual watering restrictions are now in place.

They kicked in on Sunday.

Even numbered addresses can water on the even days of the month. Odd numbered addresses can water on the odd days of the month.  There’s no watering between 10 AM and 4 PM.

Stage 1 watering rules have been in place on the Sunshine Coast for the past month, and it’s a little different this year, with the schedule set up to give everyone at least one weekend day (evens on Tue, Thu, and Sun. Odds on Mon, Wed, Sat)   Sechelt and the Town of Gibsons match the SCRD regulations.
