Work on Langdale Terminal not expected to affect traffic there

BC Ferries will begin repairing the pontoon at the Langdale Terminal on Monday.

All the work will take place between Monday and Friday within the local noise bylaw hours.

The work will involve a water-based crane, welding and pneumatic equipment as well as concrete delivery via trucks.

The noise levels are expected to be significant for specific tasks but efforts will be made to minimize the noise.

There is no anticipated impact to the regular sailing schedules for Langdale to Horseshoe Bay and Langdale, Gambier Island, Keats Island routes.
