The Gibsons and District Library Foundation trying to raise 6,500 dollars.
The money is being raised to install a state-of-the-art multimedia presentation system.
The new system will support ongoing digital literacy programs and enhance the library’s ability to provide the best possible presentations, readings and audience participation experiences.
The fundraising campaign is at 4,500 dollars and the deadline to raise the funds is at the end of this month.
Donations can be made by cash or cheque at the library’s circulation desk.
