Sunshine Coast RCMP is confirming one person has died following a house fire on Sechelt Nation lands in Wilson Creek.
Crews were called to the fire on Hupit Street around 3 this morning (Fri).
They battled the blaze until 8.
The name of the deceased has not been released and RCMP arson investigators, the Sechelt Fire Department, and the BC Coroners Service are investigating.
Anyone with information on the fire is asked to call the RCMP.
The fire was the third structure fire for lower Sunshine Coast fire crews in the past two weeks.
